What you may be noticing
Separate a repeated symptom from an isolated event. Note how often it occurs during ordinary use, which conditions accompany it and whether the appliance returns to normal. Avoid repeated test cycles when a leak or other safety concern is present.
- A burner that will not ignite reliably.
- An oven that does not reach the selected temperature.
- Heat that is uneven between normal cooking modes.
- A control or display that stops responding.
- A new operating noise during preheat.
Before the visit
Stop using a function that behaves unsafely. If gas is smelled, leave the area, avoid operating switches or flames, and contact the gas utility or emergency services from a safe location. Do not remove panels or attempt ignition or supply repairs.
Clear a safe working area, keep any displayed message and mention custom panels or restricted access. Do not dismantle the appliance in preparation.
What the inspection needs to establish
The technician adapts the inspection to the installation and reported behavior. These are areas to evaluate, not a list of parts to replace.
- Separate cooktop symptoms from the oven portion of the range.
- Identify the fuel type and control arrangement before testing.
- Check the ignition, heating, sensing and control systems relevant to the reported behavior.
- Review the installation and accessible supply connections with appropriate safety procedures.
Describe the pattern
A range combines more than one cooking function. A working cooktop does not rule out an oven fault, and an oven complaint should specify the mode in which it occurs.
Identify the range, oven or cooktop and the affected burner, cavity or mode. Include the fuel type if known. Wolf cooling and dishwashing services are not listed here.
Diagnosis, approval and repair
The diagnostic/service call is $149, credited toward an approved repair. After diagnosis, you receive an itemized repair quote before work begins. Genuine OEM parts are used.
Availability, including same-day or emergency requests, depends on the address and schedule. Sending a request does not reserve an appointment.
The 1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty covers parts installed and labor performed under normal use. It excludes new unrelated faults, misuse, power surges and work performed by others after the visit.
Sealed-system and refrigerant work is performed by an EPA-certified technician. Manufacturer names identify equipment serviced; this is independent service.
